Flashback: Birit Queen Dumbfounds

Vell's notes:

"I've performed for ASP's national events since grade school. But this last 2 years since 2014, I rarely performed for the org because for the new and fresh talents with spectrum to have their turn since they believed that I'm quite too professional and overqualified for the org's needs but they have their admiration towards me inspite of that."

BIRIT QUEEN DUMBFOUNDS!

Vell Baria, was born on March 9. English is her first language and only learned to speak Tagalog when she entered first grade. She is now 14 and is a sophomore at St. Mary's Academy. During her spare time she reads up on star-crossed sweethearts Edward & Bella of the Twilight series and play detective games.

Vell left audiences dumbfounded during her stellar performance at the World Autism Awareness Day’s AutisMusical last April 2, 2009. Vell’s love for music started at the age of 3. She listens to different genres like Dance, R&B, Anime, Pop (JKpop), Canto/Mandopop. An avid OPM fan, she idolizes Lea Salonga, Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Sarah Geronimo, Nina, Sharon Cuneta, Yeng Constantino, Charice Pempengco and dreams of collaborating with each of them for a duet and album recording in the future. Vell says her most important possessions are her admirers. She believes in working hard to achieve her goals.
